I'm a middle child who grew up in a house of six people (my dad was the only male) with only 1 1/2 baths. Money was typically tight, but we were comfortable. No matter way, my parents found a way to provide for us, even if it meant working crazy hours. Because of that, my older sister and I played a huge part in raising my two younger sisters. I know my folks wanted to have been around more, but when you rely on working for someone else, you go by their clock.
I told myself that I never wanted to go down that path from an early age. In fact, when I was sixteen, I decided that I wanted to be a real estate agent. What can I say, Robert Kiyazaki was one of my favorite authors, and being home-schooled gave me a lot of time to think outside of the box. That didn't work out too well, but I hadn't given up on the idea of being able to pull my financial weight. Every Christmas since I was 13 I would work three day weekends as a Christmas Elf for tips. Between two of my sisters and myself, we always made enough so our parents wouldn't have to worry too much about presents...but that was only seasonal.
It was only recently that I found myself striving to be an internet marketer. I'm practically always online anyways writing short stories and chatting with friends, so why not? So far, it's been going pretty nicely, and I think I really found my calling. Well, part-time calling. My dream is to be an actress- but that doesn't come cheap. So I'd like to pay my own way as well as relieve money burdens from my family as well.
My goals are to:
- Travel - South Korea is currently at the top of my destinations list. Although, I'd love traveling in general with my family since we've not been on a real family vacation in over a decade.
- Financial Freedom - Not to be cliche, but I don't want bills to be an issue anymore. I don't want to be stuck working a job I don't want, and I want to know that college isn't going to leave me in debt.
- Become a Model/Actress - Every girl's dream, right? I've been working toward this for a while now- more aggressively in the last few months. So Wish me luck!
- Have a Best Seller - As apart of my sister and our little 'therapy' for coping with sudden home-schooling we wrote a book. We're just now getting the final touches on it, so I'm hoping it does well.
